For now, scripts from WriterDuet may be imported in JSON file format.

• First, export your script from WriterDuet: simply exclude your title page and export your script as JSON.
• Then use the Import button on the Data card to upload your JSON file.

WriterDuet JSON Import Process

• The import modal guides you through selecting the file and configuring import options:
  • You can opt to convert "smart" characters (e.g., curly quotes) to standard equivalents during import.
• Consequence will identify event names from SCENE lines in your WriterDuet script. It will automatically treat lines starting with INT, EXT, or INT/EXT as scene lines within a given event, instead of treating them as new events.
• During the import, you will be able to specify the intended event type for each event in the script and make adjustments.
• Perform a test import to review warnings and errors before finalizing.
• Final import updates your project with new or modified events and lines.
