Consequence supports collaborative writing and review through Script Comment Threads attached to individual lines and their parts.

Comment threads are available in Writing View (documentation).

Comment Panel

• Access the comment panel by clicking the 💬 icon next to any line part (Dialogue, Action, Parenthetical, Character).
• View all top-level comments and their threaded replies.
• Add new comments or reply to existing ones.
• You can edit your own comments if needed, and mark comments as Resolved or Unresolved to track review status.
• Use comments to discuss specific lines or parts of lines with your team, and toggle visibility of resolved comments at any time.
• The comment panel is draggable and supports keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Escape to close).

Managing Comments

• Add a top-level comment by typing in the comment box and pressing Enter or clicking the send button.
• Reply to a comment by clicking the reply button under it.
• Edit your comment by clicking the ✏️ icon.
• Toggle resolved status with the ✓ button.
