Create Additional Users

Adding Users

  • You should now be logged in as the Administrator user.
  • Go to https://consequence.app/users (if you have an Enterprise account, it will be https://[your-subdomain].consequence.app/users)
  • Expand the New User card and add your new user's details, double-checking that you have the correct email address.
  • Click Add New to add the new user. The new user will automatically be sent a welcome email with a link to set their password, register 2-factor authentication and log in.

Resetting Passwords and 2-Factor Authentication

  • If a user forgots their password or loses access to their 2-Factor Authentication details, an Admin may reset these on the Users page.
  • First, verify the identity of the person requesting the reset. Ensure that the request is coming from a legitimate user in your organization, and not someone impersonating them.
  • Then click the Reset Password or Reset TOTP button as appropriate. The user will be emailed the relevant information to proceed.
